  • Dictée de la rentrée, 09/11

    Dictée de la rentrée!

    Friday 11th September 2020 — 6:30pm to 7:30pm

“Wherever you are in the world, forget about that now, close your eyes … and imagine that you are being transported into the eighth arrondissement of Paris,” says Oliver Gee, the host of the popular Paris podcast The Earful Tower.

The podcast has 60,000 downloads per month and was recently lauded by the New York Times as a great way to travel by ear. Originally from Australia, Oliver has lived in Paris since 2015. Paris On Air, a memoir telling the often laugh-out-loud stories from his past five years in the French capital, is his first book.

Join us for a live virtual meeting with Oliver on Sunday, September 20, at 11 a.m. via Zoom. It will be mostly in English with a smattering of French terms. Oliver will show us the view of the Eiffel Tower from his Montmartre apartment and he’ll share readings from his memoir. Look for a lively Q&A session where he shares his tips on Paris, the language, and more!

This online event is free. Registrants will receive an exclusive discount code for a hot-off-the-press copy of his book Paris on AirIf you don't receive the code, email executive.assistant@francedc.org.

Sing up now and follow Oliver Gee on Instagram @theearfultower.

  • Library Resource Guide
