A membership is your first-class ticket to all the Alliance Française of Washington DC has to offer, including reciprocal membership in all our chapters in the USA (and beyond, unless otherwise specified). Take a look at the tiers below and select what’s most appropriate for you or your family.

Please note: you must be a member—at the minimal level—to register for a class or borrow from the library.

Membership Levels

• Individual

  Price: $60.00
  
  • Minimum membership level required for a student to register in Adult/Kids classes
  • Access to the AFDC library with borrowing privileges
  • Access to Culturethèque (digital library)
  • Free access to Club de lecture, Jouons ! and other Members-only events
  • Free or reduced admission to cultural events

• Family

  Price: $100.00
  
  • All the advantages of an Individual Membership
  • Minimum membership Level required to enroll more than one person from the same family in classes
  • Increased Library borrowing privileges
  • Membership benefits for two adults and up to four children living at the same address

• Molière

  Price: $250.00
  
  • All the benefits of a Family Membership
  • Recognition in the Annual Report
  • Two tickets to AFDC films, lectures, wine tasting, and more
  • Tax Deductible Amount: $150

• De Sévigné

  Price: $500.00
  
  • All the advantages of the Molière level
  • Two guest passes for AFDC films, lectures, wine tastings, and more
  • Invitation to VIP Receptions with visiting lecturers/authors/artists

• Monet

  Price: $1,000.00
  
  • All the advantages of the Sevigne level
  • One ticket to AFDC Annual Recognition Luncheon
  • 20% discount on courses

• L'Enfant
