Alliance Française of Washington, DC and a French film magazine Cahiers du Cinéma are partnering again, this time to bring you its first Film Festival "SEVEN WOMEN: Seven Decades of Alliance Française through Seven Films by Women".  

Détruire, dit-elle, a movie directed by Marguerite Duras will be screened at the Alliance Française of Washington, DC on Tuesday, November 12 at 7 pm preceded by a "happy hour" reception starting at 6:30 pm.

Détruire, dit-elle is a 1969 French drama film directed by Marguerite Duras based on her book of the same title. Elizabeth Alione is sinking into a deep melancholy when she drags down the corridors, the park and the dining room of a hotel.
