This year, 2023, marks the 110th anniversary of the publication of the first volume of À la recherche du temps perdu / In Search of Lost Time. 110 years since the publication of Swann's Way, Marcel Proust's works are relevant as ever and still enthrall the readers. In partnership with the Cultural Services of the Embassy of France (Villa Albertine), the AFDC is delighted to bring to you a series of events celebrating Marcel Proust.

On November 2nd at 7:00 PM join us at the Alliance Française of Washington for a Panel Discussion in which we will discuss what it means to read Marcel Proust today and how relevant his works still are these days.

This event is part of the series of events dedicated to Marcel Proust in partnership with the Cultural Services of the Embassy of France (Villa Albertine). Join us also for a Film Screening of Raul Ruiz's Time Regained at the French Embassy on November 1st, and a Proust Reading Night at the Embassy of France on November 3rd.
