Moelleux au chocolat: Cooking Demo with Le Chef's Wife

Saturday 12th February 2022 — 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Here is an event for your sweet tooth and a perfect celebration of love (including love for a good French dessert). Moelleux au chocolat (direct translation: soft chocolate) is also known as a chocolate lava cake or as a mi-cuit au chocolat. The recipe that Le Chef's Wife & Le Chef are going to demonstrate makes for a cake that is rich on the outside and decadently gooey on the inside – positively oozing with dark chocolate.

What better way of celebrating Valentine's Day? Join us on Saturday, February 12 to cook along in real time, meet this fun and incredibly talented couple, pick up some new French vocabulary along the way (including how to pronounce "moelleux"), and learn the story of how Anina Belle fell in love with her husband over this very recipe of moelleux au chocolat.

You will find the recipe with cooking instructions and a grocery list on Le Chef's Wife blog: lechefswife.com/le-chefs-moelleux-au-chocolat/.

This event will be in English with a lot of French words and expressions. Free for members of Alliance Française of Washington. Please RSVP to receive your join link.
