Discover the extraordinary women who have shaped French history, culture, politics, science, and the arts. From Jeanne d’Arc to Louise Labé, Jeanne III de Navarre,Marie de Medici, Madame de La Fayette, Emilie du Châtelet, Olympe de Gouges, Madame de Staël, Charlotte Corday, Louise Michel, George Sand and Madame de Pompadour, participants will explore powerful stories of courage, creativity, and influence.
This advanced immersion day will include discussions, debates, case studies, and collaborative presentations designed to encourage nuanced expression and deeper cultural reflection. Participants will analyze historical contexts, compare perspectives, and share insights, entirely in French.
Lunch will be provided by the Alliance Française of Washington, DC, allowing participants to continue meaningful conversations and enjoy a full day of cultural and linguistic immersion.
