Join us as we celebrate World Pride through the vibrant LGBTQ+ cultures of Paris and Madrid — two cities where queer expression shines in Europe.
Our DJ's will be bringing the best sounds from these two European cities right to the nation's capital. Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy timeless tunes as two well-known DJ's mix European hits from across the decades. The artists played will be either LGBTQ artists or allies of the LGBTQ movement, and also paying homage to those who died of AIDS in the 80s.
Iconic songs in an unforgettable location! Dance the night away in Dupont Underground, a historic arts venue and former 1949 streetcar station, now transformed into a space for bold, underground creativity.
PLEASE NOTE: Under no circumstances will any guests bringing LARGE BAGS and BACKPACKS be allowed entry, please leave them at home and be respectful of these strict security protocols to ensure the safety of all.
About the DJ's:
David Dupre
After moving to the US from France, David became very involved in the Los Angeles scene, with residencies at the Ace Hotel and the C-Loft in the Art District. Now established in DC, he is resident DJ at Opaline of Sofitel and hosts the “One For You” show on Eaton Radio. His style of music is at the meeting point between Chic and Underground. You may have heard him recently at the Feel Listening Lounge under the name One4u, or at the "Roads to Paris" event organized by NBC at the French Ambassador’s residence for the 2024 Olympics.
Pamplo
Hailing from Spain, Pamplo got his start like so many DJs before him—playing for friends at parties. Thanks to hard work and a job he landed with an event production company, Pamplo was opened up to a world of performing opportunities. For almost a decade, he has DJed for bars, clubs, and special events in Washington DC and other countries such as Colombia, Barbados, El Salvador, and Spain, among others. Pamplo is an open format DJ, so nothing is off limits when he is in charge. He brings together different genres of electronic music and more to get the crowd amped and the dancing hot. He is constantly working on his sound and expanding his music selection so there’s always something new to be heard.
