ABOUT THE EVENT: THIS EVENT WILL BE IN ENGLISH AND ONLINE

The Alliance Francaise of Washington DC (AFDC) is organizing a trip to Toulouse, the Pink City in the Southwest of France, capital of Rugby, violets, Bel Canto, and the French aeronautic industry, in October 2025 (October 19 to 27).

Did you know that the AFDC's Executive Director 's maternal family came from this city? She herself grew up in the City of Violets and Rugby from the age of 6 to 18 and is oeverwhelmed with emotionevery time she hears Claude Nougaro's 1967's song "O Toulouse"... because it captures the eternal essence of Toulouse.

Toulouse was voted Best Destination to visit in 2025 by The Lonely Planet Guide. "Known as La Ville Rose, Toulouse is named top city for its ever-expanding art scene, carefree riverside wandering and its many incontournables (unmissable things to see and do)."

You will receive an ZOOM link a week before the event, then a reminder 24 hours before the event, and a final reminder one hour before the event.

The AFDC' Executive Director, Sarah Diligenti, was named Ambassador of Toulouse in the USA by the Toulouse Team in June 2023 and met with them in November 2024 to organize the trip.
