Meet Krystel Abimeri, a Lebanese poet and author of children's books in conversation with AFDC's own Sarah Diligenti, poet and author too, on writing, being an author, how writing impacts their private and public lives, and  choosing to publish anonymously or with a pseudonym, and of the book they participated in together with 98 other authors (amongst them Foenkinos and Sinoue). This book was published in Beirut, Lebanon in November 2017. The proceeds of the book were given to a Lebanese NGO.

Limited books in French available for sale.

Krystel was born in Beirut on July 14, 1983, and since then she has been making a revolution. Franco-Lebanese, she grew up between Paris, the Middle East, and the Gulf countries, and considers herself nomadic at heart. Her studies in Communication and Sociology in Paris and London led her to work in international development. After seven years in New York as a Project Manager for UNICEF, she set foot in Washington DC. In addition to working as a communication consultant, she splits the rest of her time between teaching children, voice acting and writing. She has written for several publications, including ELLE, L'Officiel, Orient-Le Jour, and Canvas. Krystel is the author of a children's book Petit Shoe by Boutville published by Dergham and the poetry collection Miské published by Noir Blanc Et Caetera. She is also one of the 100 authors to have participated in the book L'amour à cent bras.
