Cultural Programs Intern
The intern will work under the supervision of the Cultural Director and the authority of the Executive Director. The intern will primarily support AFDC cultural programming by assisting with partnerships, artist relations, and contributing to new and creative projects. Additional projects may be associated with the Communications and Development offices of the AFDC.

Each year, the library of the Alliance Française de Washington, DC welcomes future librarians to apply for an internship. In addition to becoming a part of our daily life--being home to a multicultural public, promoting collections, and working with other departments and partners of the Alliance--the intern is entrusted with a specific project likely to be of professional interest to him/her. Moreover, Washington, DC is a city rich with libraries of all types and we organize visits and meetings with colleagues in the area.
